So we’re talking a two-book deal with a seven-figure advance.

My agent, John Pearce of Westwood Creative, has landed the offer.

The publisher is preparing the contract.

But perhaps I should clarify that advance.

Two of those seven figures are to the right of the decimal. Details, right?

The first of the two books will be published next spring, 2027.

It’s called Why Canada is Canada, subtitle still under discussion.

Here you see the publisher’s first draft of the cover. I rather like it.

Meanwhile, I am hard at work.

The second book is slated for spring, 2028.

The question for you is: Should I sign on the dotted line?
